Superb walking, mountain biking, and climbing are available locally on Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam, and the lovely woodland trails at Grizedale Forest. Nearby Ulverston (5 miles) provides an excellent market, an array of old pubs and good restaurants. All the attractions of the Lake District National Park are within easy reach, including Coniston and Windermere. The cottage enjoys open plan living with a well equipped kitchen/dining area. The cosy lounge features a wood burner (first basket of logs provided) surrounded by two leather sofas along with a Smart TV and in the corner oak table and chairs. The kitchen space is great to rustle up a lovely meal with an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Upstairs are two inviting bedrooms: one king size with an en suite WC, and one twin bedroom. The spacious family bathroom has a shower and a WC. To the front of the cottage is an open area with seating that overlooks the green. To the back of the property is the laundry room with a WC along with a washing machine and freezer.
