Head down to Bowness which is only 2 miles away where you can head out onto Lake Windermere and take a tour of the lake via the steamboats, or if you prefer, you can hire some kayaks and have your own mini adventures. This is a great base for exploring Ambleside (4.6 miles), Bowness (1.8 miles), Grizedale Forest (11.7 miles), and lots of National Trust properties. This lovely single level property features a cosy lounge/diner with patio doors that lead out into the garden, this is the perfect place for watching wildlife and colourful birds. This room is the hub of the house with three sofas, a large TV for watching all your favourite programs, along with a dining table and chairs to enjoy views out over the garden whilst having breakfast or lunch. A fully fitted kitchen boasts everything needed to cook up a lovely meal. The master bedroom has a king size bed with French doors leading out into the garden, plus an en suite shower room with WC.
