Leave the car behind and walk to the famous Devil's Bridge just one mile away from your base and sit by the river with a picnic. A 35 mile drive away you can explore the Lake District and the stunning shores of Lake Windermere (20 miles) where you can explore the lake via a lake steamer as the day floats on by or head east and explore the Dales. Through the door and into the hall you can hang your coats and boots in preparation for any walks ahead. The open plan living space gives the lovely cottage a homely atmosphere and is a great space for the family. The lounge offers a wall mounted Smart TV with gas effect fire, and you can relax on the leather corner sofa or armchair to enjoy. For those inner chefs, the kitchen makes mealtimes a breeze and the open plan space means no one misses out and the conversation can flow. Enjoy the stunning views over the fields and beyond from the dining table or better yet any spot in the house. Before heading upstairs, we have the first bedroom which is a twin with a Smart TV, and opposite on the other side of the hall is a shower room. Up to the first floor is a small sofa on the landing area which is ideal for those who want to enjoy a good book in peace.
