Add Newcastle upon Tyne, Hadrian s Wall, the Farne Islands, Scottish Borderlands and Durham to your itinerary. If you love places of historical interest, then the castles at Bamburgh and Alnwick are well worth your time. Harry Potter fans will recognise the latter from the movies. On arrival at the accommodation you will find the cosy lounge with its woodburner effect gas fire, and TV/DVD to unwind in front of at the end of a day of discovery. Curl up on the sofa with a good book after a satisfying home cooked meal.
