Description
The house, with its Corian work surfaces, marble and wooden floors exudes a contemporary but stylish appeal that will please all guests. The town centre is an easy walk away and there you will find a good selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs. The Electric Palace Cinema and Bridport Arts Centre are worthy of checking for great entertainment, as is the twice weekly street markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays.The beach at West Bay is only seven minutes walk along the former railway line that is adjacent to Harbour Lights.
West Bay, famous as the setting of the television series Broadchurch, is reachable by foot via the local footpath or a short car journey. Other popular destinations such as Weymouth or Lyme Regis can be accessed easily by car. This location is a perfect base from which to explore Dorset's coast and countryside. The famous swannery and botanical gardens in the village of Abbotsbury is a short drive away. Nearby Burton Bradstock has a beach as well as the very popular Hive Beach Cafe which is set on the impressive eighteen mile long stretch of Chesil beach, which runs from Portland to West Bay. Slightly further afield is the popular seaside town of Charmouth where you will find the Jurassic Heritage Centre. There is easy access to the South West Coast Path which runs along this stretch of stunning coastline and the region offers opportunities for fossil hunting, walking, fishing and many other activities.
