The town lies adjacent to the Axe Estuary wetlands and marshes, whilst being surrounding by beautiful rolling Devon countryside and quaint villages. Located close by is the classic popular village of Beer (2 miles), Regency Sidmouth (8 miles) and Lyme Regis (7 miles) with it’s famous Cobb.
