Description
A fantastic shepherds hut, sat on a working farm on the edge of Cors Caron, a certified Site of Special Scientific Interest. Beautifully and thoughtfully styled with breath-taking panoramic views and a welcoming cosy interior makes this ideal for couples to snuggle up on a romantic break away in the wilds of the West Wales countryside. The open-plan living area provides comfy seating and a well-equipped kitchen and compact breakfast bar. Like the rest of the hut, the shower room is compact and well-designed maximising space and offers yet another fantastic view. The double bed, offers the same fabulous views through the patio doors adding to the feeling of being tucked away. Cwt Caron is set in a private enclosed garden surrounded by working farmland, an ideal place to relax and watch for the local wildlife and stargaze after the sun has set whilst you sit and enjoy a cool drink or perhaps slip into the enticing hot tub and marvel at the local countryside and ever changing vista. The local village of Pontrhydfendigaid, affectionately known locally as Bont, is one mile, with a handy shop and local pub, a great detour after a long walk, the beautiful Strata Florida is also certainly worth a visit. You are on the doorstep of Cors Caron, with wooden boardwalks across the marshland, teeming with birds and wildlife and a great cycle track through the valley countryside. Alternatively why not head north into the Cambrian Mountains and watch the feeding of the Red Kites at Nant yr Arian or visit Aberystwyth with its steam and funicular railway, Victorian promenade and pier and possibly catch the starling mumerations as the sun goes down. Or perhaps visit the pretty harbour side towns and villages of the Ceredigion coastline, enjoy the sandy beaches and craggy coastline or visit the National Trust property of Llanerchaeron, before heading into Aberaeron to visit one of the popular restaurants. This can be booked with ref 1013403, sleeping a total of 4 people.
The village lies on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains amidst countryside. The set of stone steps leading down to the lowest bridge at the waterfall are known as Jacob's Ladder. The attraction offers viewing points and after the steep walk there is a hotel and cafe for refreshments. This whole area boasts stunning scenery and wildlife, and is renowned for walking, cycling, fishing and bird watching as well as trips to the Cardigan Bay coastline.
