Description
2 Ocean’s Edge is a delightful ground floor apartment, enjoying views over the shared swimming pool, neighbouring countryside and out to sea towards Burgh Island and Bigbury Bay. There is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, made light and bright space by large French doors out to a furnished terrace, with a table and chairs to seat six guests. The comfortably furnished lounge space includes two large sofas, which leads to a well equipped kitchen and dining area with an oak table and chairs. A separate utility cupboard houses a washer/dryer. Three bedrooms include an en suite master with a King-size divan bed, with a fully tiled en suite shower room. The second bedroom is a twin with two single beds, also with an en suite shower room, and the third has full-size bunk beds (suitable for children only). From the apartment there is level access to the shared swimming pool and gardens. There is allocated parking for one car, plus visitors bays.
The coastal village of Thurlestone is popular with both beach-goers and watersports enthusiasts, with the popular sandy beaches of Thurlestone and South Milton Sands within walking distance. Thurlestone boasts an 18-hole links golf course, a 13th century church, a traditional pub, a post office and the ‘Voyage Spa’, where visitors can enjoy spa treatments or afternoon tea. Just a 10-15 minute drive away is the sailing town of Salcombe, and the fishing village of Hope Cove is also a short drive away, or can be reached on foot via the South West Coast Path, offering stunning panoramic sea views.
