Description
The apartment can be accessed from a communal door in the parking area to a small lobby on the first floor. The front door opens in to a hallway from which all rooms can be accessed. The very attractive and well-presented open plan kitchen/sitting, and dining room offers breathtaking views out over the golden beaches of East Portlemouth and the Salcombe estuary. Two sets of French doors lead out to two separate balconies each with table and chairs. The kitchen is fully fitted with a range of units a central island/breakfast bar and electrical appliances. The dining area has a large New England table and chairs, with matching sideboard, and a writing desk. The spacious lounge has a large sofa, armchairs, coffee table and TV with sky. Two bedrooms in total: a master bedroom with King-size bed, bedside units, wardrobe and an en suite with large shower cubicle, w.c and wash-hand basin. The second bedroom has twin single beds, bedside units and wardrobe with drawers. In addition to the en suite is an elegant, fully tiled family bathroom with bath, shower (over), wash-hand basin and w.c. There is allocated parking for one car in the undercover carpark.
Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
