The cottage is well equipped and offers contemporary furnished holiday accommodation, as well as a shared outside area at the front of the property with a wooden bench. Relax with your family in the open plan ground floor living accommodation. With a fully fitted kitchen, small dining area, and comfortable sitting area, this is a wonderful space for a quiet evening after a busy day exploring Salcombe’s boutique shops, art galleries and coastal paths. The property also has two first floor bedrooms – a master with King-size bed (access from one side only) and a second bedroom with modern 3ft bunk beds. There is also a shower room with enclosed shower cubicle. Outside, there is a communal area at front of the property with a wooden bench. A parking pass is provided for the long stay car park nearby. (subject to restrictions) Whether you are planning a walking break with your partner and dog, or are looking for a well-located base within easy reach of the beach for your family summer holiday, this is a wonderful option!
Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
