Inside, the house is light and bright, perfect for a family of four, with two good sized bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen plus Dining Room and Living Room.

Lower Moor Lodge, is a truly cosy cottage located on the edge of the famous market town of Hay on Wye - world famous for its historic and literary connections. The cottage, which is over 200 years old and once the lodge to the Lower Moor Manor, has a wealth of period features throughout, including original flagstone, lead mullion windows, wooden flooring and the all important wood burning stove! Inside, the house is light and bright, perfect for a family of four, with two good sized bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen plus Dining Room and Living Room . All rooms have views across the countryside which surrounds the building. The style is welcoming with a clever mixed of the old with new and modern touches to bring it up to good standard, we found it to be a very charming home. Surrounding the house is a lovely garden with various benches and tables to enjoy the fresh air. The property is located on the English side of the Welsh/English boarder, about 10 mins walk from the centre of Hay, which has a wide and attractive selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. This ancient market town lies on the River Wye in the Brecon Beacons National Park, and is renowned for its many book shops, antique shops, restaurants and cafes. Hay-on-Wye is surrounded by spectacular countryside, which provides excellent walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing and canoeing, together with a variety of tourist attractions, including the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and The Three Castles Walk.
