Description
The ground floor comprises of a well-equipped kitchen and a cosy sitting room, boasting a warming woodburning fire and TV. Following this is a formal dining room, where you can enjoy your home cooked meals with spectacular views. Completing the ground floor is the double bedroom, with zip/link beds with an en-suite, which includes a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Follow the carpeted stairs up to the first-floor where you will find two stylish bedrooms, comprising of double beds and skylight windows to fill the rooms with natural light. The spacious bathroom consists of a bath with shower over, basin and WC, making this the perfect spot to unwind after a long day’s walk. To the back of the property, guests will have access to a large lawned garden area, ideal for letting the dogs stretch their legs. The cottage is located up a quaint farm track, meaning you are in a fairly quiet location, however the local pub can be found within a 5-minute drive and the closest shop is situated within the village of Blair Atholl, located just 6 miles away from the cottage. To keep you busy whilst staying at the cottage, you will have access to a number of walks and cycling routes. Attractions include the Blair Castle which hosts a 700-year-old history or the Falls of Bruar, which is a stunning series of waterfalls, located at just a 2 minute drive. Tomban Cottage is the ideal base to relax of an evening after a spending the day exploring with the family.
