Byre Cottage is charming, a fabulous eco-friendly barn conversion in the Northumberland National Park. Interiors are charming with three pretty bedrooms sleeping six, a traditional kitchen with Belfast sink and lovely living room with feature stone fireplace. Relax in the conservatory after dinner and do a little star gazing into the clear night skies… perfect. This is an excellent location for outdoor pursuits with walking and cycling trails on the doorstep. Step outside and you’re in unspoilt countryside at the foot of the Cheviot Hills, take a leisurely stroll along the banks of the river Coquet or do a spot of fishing. The Northumberland National Park is a haven for wildlife with black grouse, ospreys and otters can be spotted along the the river. Northumberland is home to more castles and fortified houses than any other region in England. Byre Cottage is a great base for walkers, cyclists and stargazers… the area is Europe's largest 'Dark Skies' area. Sleeps: 6 in 3 bedrooms Beds: 3 x double beds.
