After a busy day exploring the historical attractions found dotted around the area, you will be delighted to retire to the double bedroom or take a warming bath within the elegantly presented bathroom. Resting below the property you can find the Looby Lou’s shop which featured in the drama 'To Walk Invisible’, and with research showing that the shop belonged to J.Greenwood Stationary & Tea Dealer, where the Brontë Sisters allegedly used to purchase their stationary, there’s no better base for exploring the area’s rich literary history. Offering a superb backdrop of the picture postcard countryside and plenty of scenic walking routes, this wonderful village also benefits from housing a fine selection of traditional pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent shops, each located within a mere stone’s throw from the property. For walking lovers, you will find a number of walks upon the moorland, allowing you to follow in the footsteps of Catherine and Heathcliff. For a taste of history, spend an afternoon at the Brontë Parsonage Museum or visit the Worth Valley Railway to see an authentic railway which was used in the iconic film The Railway Children. Alternatively, Skipton is nearby, with its cobbled streets and delightful castle and further afield is the Victorian spa town of Harrogate, boasting fabulous shops, an excellent theatre and the fantastic Royal Pump Room Museum.
