This delightful village is home to all sorts of amenities including a sandy beach and colourful fishing port. You can pay a visit to the local Seawatch Centre with the kids and learn about the rich maritime history or enjoy birdwatching and boat trips around the coast. Moelfre is also on the Anglesey Coastal Path with walks in abundance. You are within easy reach of the large village of Benllech and town of Amlwch with its three windmills and old harbour. Pay a visit to Red Wharf Bay and take in its outstanding natural beauty. This is a charming base for a holiday in North Wales.
Situated on the east coast of Anglesey, is the fishing village of Moelfre boasting little cottages, a beach, views of Snowdonia and two pubs/restaurants. Visit the hugely popular local Seawatch Centre, take boat trips around the coast and enjoy fishing or watching sea birds, seals and even dolphins, or discover wonderful cliff-top walks with stunning mountain views. The village has many historic links, the most recent being the site of the tragic Royal Charter shipwreck in 1859. There are stunning sandy beaches nearby, at Benllech and Lligwy, and the lovely Red Wharf Bay, with its miles of open sands and birdlife.
