A great little seaside retreat for two. Lower Deck is a delightful ground floor studio apartment in the Yacht Yard at Walberswick. Relax in the living room and gaze through the wide French doors over the dunes, or stroll along one of the nearby footpaths …. Whatever you do, this is the perfect hideaway for a week on the coast with the harbour, beach and the River Blyth literally on the doorstep! Walberswick is a pretty seaside village on the Suffolk coast with a village green, cafes, deli, pubs and stylish interiors shop and the sandy beach and river. This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, characterised by its sand dunes and familiar beach huts. Nearby Southwold is 5 miles away with its famous, iconic lighthouse and fabulously fresh seafood! The town has some excellent independent shops, cafes and restaurants, be sure to call in for a pint of the acclaimed Adnams beer in one of the popular pubs. Top Deck has a large dining table which can easily accommodate six people. Lower Deck may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility due to the nature of the stairs. Although this property does not allow pets, the owners occasionally bring their own dog.
