Description

This holiday cottage itself is full of interesting details that you’ll enjoy discovering during your break. At Brookfield you’re a quick walk from the things Rhosneigr can offer, including sandy beaches individual shops, pubs and restaurants. The sitting room is welcoming and certainly Instagram-worthy! It’s a calming space which is ideal for a relaxing evening after a busy day of exploring Anglesey. Two comfortable sofas, an unusual swing chair and a Smart TV are yours to enjoy. What a gorgeous kitchen! Bright, modern and with so much room, too. There’s a handy table and chairs, perfect for sociable breakfasts planning your day ahead. An open fire will give a cosy feel to casual family dinners in the winter. There’s an electric hob and oven, fridge and microwave. There is a small freezer located in the shed and a washing machine located in the outhouse. There is also a separate dining room with a large table and chairs. This is the ideal place for a family supper. There is a fireplace as you can see from the photographs, but this is purely decorative and cannot be used. Brookfield offers two double bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which has access to the Jack and Jill shower room with shower, loo, hand basin and towel radiator. Up in the eaves is a twin bedroom which is better suited to children as it has steep steps and low beams. Outside is a private garden laid to lawn - let the children play whilst you sit in the sunshine with a book and a cuppa! You could even sit out with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Sounds good, doesn’t it? There’s also a handy outdoor loo and secure storage space. Parking for 2 - 3 cars is at the far side of the house. Thrill-seekers Rhosneigr on Anglesey is an ideal place for a fun-filled family holiday. Sandy beaches ideal for watersports is ideal for the adventurous. Or enjoy a relaxed pace with a gentle stroll along the coastal footpath. Sandy beaches, incredible scenery and amazing attractions and activities are all perfectly possible from Brookfield. The popular seaside village of Rhosneigr is situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, famous for its spectacular cliffs and magnificent sandy beaches. The village has a varied history including a 6th century church, tales of smugglers, famous off-shore shipwrecks and from the Edwardian era it has been a fashionable holiday destination. Today it is known for its magnificent beaches and renowned watersports, providing some of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing in the UK, with tuition available in the village. Activities include fishing, sailing, sand yachting, wreck diving, golf and hours of family fun on the enormous sandy beaches. There are several pubs, restaurants and shops in the village, with the market towns of Llangefni and Holyhead (starting point for day trips to Dublin), and the city of Bangor within easy travelling distance. Close by is the Anglesey Race Circuit, great for lovers or car and motorbike racing, while on the island you will find Pili Palas Butterfly Farm, Anglesey Sea Zoo and Beaumaris Castle. Boat trips around Puffin Island offer the chance to see nesting puffins and guillemots, or cross to the mainland and enjoy Victorian Llandudno’s shopping, restaurants and dry ski slope, Snowdonia mountains and the beaches of the Llyn Peninsula.
