Don’t forget your binoculars, as the comfy window seat provides the perfect vantage point to watch the local fishermen heading out on their next adventure.
Budding cooks can rustle up a feast in the inviting kitchen or you can head out to your private garden and fire up the barbecue on a warm summer’s night. And on cooler evenings, you can curl up in front of the flickering wood burner with the clan for a movie night with some of the best fish and chips around.
When it’s time to explore, a short ten minute stroll along the coast will bring you to Brixham’s pretty harbour. There’s so much to see from the boutique shops and art galleries to the Golden Hind replica, perfect for the little ones to discover their inner pirate.
A visit to Brixham wouldn’t be complete without sampling the fresh seafood that’s brought back to shore each day or if you love to be on the water, you can catch a day trip along the coast to nearby Torquay.
