Burnley 1.5 miles. A beautiful recently built detached bungalow, set in a quiet cul-de-sac adjacent to the owner’s property. One and a half miles from the town of Burnley. This bungalow is close to the countryside while still being close enough to town for all your needs. It is ideally situated for transport links of bus, train and motorway. Access to the bungalow is via a short ramped path (max. 1:5) and then to a level patio area, this welcoming holiday home has a cosy lounge with dining area, separate well equipped kitchen and spacious bedroom with two single beds leading to a large en-suite shower room. The patio area at the side of the property has a table, seating and an umbrella so you can relax on lovely summer days. The property has a shared garden with the owners who live on site. The nearest shops and pubs are all within half a mile and it is only one and half miles to the town centre where you will find restaurants, cafes, pubs, a theatre and the shopping centre. Nearby there is Towneley Hall (1.7 miles) and Gawthorpe Hall ( 3.2 miles) both of which have surrounding parkland and are well worth a visit. Gawthorpe Hall is the setting for the ‘Familiars’ , the debut novel by local author Stacey Halls which is in the Sunday Times best sellers for 2019. For sports lovers we are proud of our Premier League Football Club and Lancashire League Cricket Teams of Burnley and Lowerhouse and the Bungalow is only 0.2 miles away from Burnley Glen View Golf Club, Towneley Golf Club (1.2 miles). Being an ideal spot to be based for walking and touring holidays we are conveniently placed for transport links by bus, the X43 service will take you to Manchester or the beautiful market town of Skipton, affectionately referred to as the ‘Gateway to the Dales’. By train (1.2 miles) from Manchester Road Station and the Trans Pennine Route, the line links Blackpool through to York and Scarborough via Hebden Bridge and Leeds or Manchester via Todmorden. The Manchester line has links by train or tram to Manchester Airport. Close enough to the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District for days out, with Blackpool Southport and Morecambe on the West Coast are all less than 40 miles away.
