Internally, this cottage benefits from an open-plan living space, with a welcoming sitting room offering a delightful woodburner and range of sofas and armchairs to relax and unwind upon, with a large wall-mounted Smart TV providing the entertainment. The dining area has ample space for all the family to gather around and enjoy a home-cooked meal. The country-style kitchen is equipped with a range of contemporary appliances and boasts a beautiful granite worktop and wooden units. There is also one wall which completely opens via bi-folding doors, allowing you to appreciate the breathtaking view and watch for deer which occasionally cross the meadow. On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with double-bed, smart TV and en-suite shower room with underfloor heating. Upstairs is occupied by two delightful bedrooms one featuring a king-size bed and the other a double, both with en-suite shower rooms. One of the bedrooms has a Juliet balcony which overlooks the river, providing you with a beautiful view to start your morning. Moving outside there are expansive grass areas surrounding the property which are ideal for younger children to play as well as patio area with BBQ and sun-loungers if the weather blesses you. Appealing to the anglers in the group, included in what you have paid the owner can provided fishing permits for three rods on the river Tees, giving you chance to catch some freshwater salmon and trout. A 15-minute drive brings you to Darlington town centre where you can indulge in a selection of restaurants, pubs and shops. The cottage is within easy reach of the Northern Dales, offering you with endless amounts of picturesque countryside to explore. Head north and visit the wonderful Durham Cathedral or take the motorway south and arrive at the magnificent city of York in just over an hour.
