The Old Band Hall in Harlech
This superb detached cottage has been converted from the old Harlech Silver Band practice hall in the heart of this popular town. Situated in an elevated position the property is at the top of Ffordd Pen Llech, which for a short while was recognised by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's steepest street! The property is near the top of the street and only a short stroll to the shops and restaurants in the town, although it is worth noting that this does include a short incline to the top of the hill.

Description
The cottage also boasts an impressive neighbour as it is right next door to Harlech Castle. Stunning views of both the castle and the Snowdonia mountain range make this a very special place. Architecturally designed, the interior of this amazing property is light and airy with a large window looking out over the estuary with partial sea views. A cosy double bedroom is complemented by an en-suite shower room and, with a split-level design, the sitting room is comfortably furnished with a woodburning stove in the corner, whilst up the steps is a dining area. Head down the stairs to the lower ground floor and you will find a small kitchen and a compact bathroom with a small P-shaped bath. Walk out of the patio doors and you step onto a decked terrace with views of Harlech Castle to your left, and the mountains of Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula across the bay in front of you. On a clear day you can see the cafe at the top of Snowdon. Harlech is a wonderful historic village which is dominated by the 13th century castle complete with a visitor and interpretation centre, but is also home to a range of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Have a round of golf at the Royal St. Davids course or head down to the beach and spend the day building your own castle out of sand! Harlech is located on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and is within short drives of Barmouth, Porthmadog and the world-famous Italianate village of Portmeirion. Whatever you choose to do on your North Wales holiday, the quality and location of this cottage will ensure that you will be talking about it for many years to come. Please note that the property is situated around 200 meters down the hill which is a little further down than Google Maps suggest. Please also be aware that the parking for the property is on a bend on the hill. If you require deliveries during your stay it may be worth checking with the provider to ensure that they are able to deliver to the address.
The small town of Harlech within the breathtaking Snowdonia National Park offers a 13th century castle, the famous Royal St. Davids course, a beautiful sandy beach and quality restaurants.
