This Shropshire cottage is very close to a 2300-acre National Nature Reserve renowned for its mosses and raised bogs, and is home to a huge variety of birds. Enjoy delightful Ellesmere, the centre of Shropshire's Lake District boasting nine picturesque meres with scenic walks, fishing and boating. A perfect location for the Ironbridge World Heritage Site, Wroxeter Roman Ruins, Errdig Hall, Chirk Castle, Llangollen or medieval Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Chester. This is a lovely Shropshire cottage in a wonderful location.
The village of Northwood nestles between the Shropshire market towns of Wem and Ellesmere and consists of a handful of houses and an excellent pub with adjoining restaurant. Historic Wem has provided a central point for local trade since Saxon times and its weekly market still holds this tradition attracting visitors from across the county.
