In association with Trinity House, Cornwall Hideaways are pleased to present Argus Cottage at Pendeen Lighthouse.

This comfortable cottage offers a double bedroom with limited sea views, single bedroom, sitting room with sea views, kitchen, dining room and bathroom. You may be lucky enough to spot seals on the rocks below the lighthouse headland, as well as a variety of seabirds. With banks of seasonal pink thrift and golden gorse, the headland is a perfect location to watch the sun setting over the Atlantic.

Argus is one of two holiday cottages available at the lighthouse (along with Solebay Cottage, sleeping four guests) and has a dramatic location on a granite headland on the North Cornwall Coast within a Site of Special Scientific Interest and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The South West Coast path passes around the headland, through part of Cornwall's oldest mining areas. The lighthouse lies six miles north of Land's End and two miles from St Just. The lighthouse was established in 1900, electrified in 1926 and automated in 1994.

Bedroom one A double bedroom with a king-size bed. Bedroom two With a single 3' bed. Bathroom With a bath and shower over and wash basin. Separate WC. Outside: Stunning, panoramic views with an abundance of wildlife Large, walled patio to the rear of the property. On-site parking. Additional visitor parking is 100 yards away in a public carpark, off-site. Additional Information: Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge). Travel cot and highchair available on request. Please note: Access roads to the lighthouse site are narrow with limited passing places and, dependent on the season and site, there is the possibility of overhanging vegetation due to cutting restrictions during bird breeding seasons or other environmental reasons. Guests are reminded they are renting a heritage building, therefore certain features such as steps, stairs and floor levels may not comply with that of a modern building. As such, we would advise guests to acquaint themselves with the premises on arrival and exercise caution accordingly. Guests should be aware that the lighthouses and equipment need regular and sometimes emergency maintenance. Therefore visits by maintenance staff may occur at any time during the year. However, staff will do their best to ensure guest privacy at all times. Sorry, no barbecues, fireworks, drones or remote controlled flying equipment permitted. Whilst the cliff edge is protected by a 4' high wall, due to the location of the light house, please ensure that children are supervised at all times.
