A quaint and traditional former fisherman s cottage which is been fitted and furnished to create the perfect holiday home located in the seaside village of Appledore.
Set in one of Appledore s many pretty streets, this lovely cottage allows guests to enjoy lovely views over the water towards the seaside village of Instow, from the first floor bedroom. Spend your days wandering the cobbled streets of Appledore or venture out to explore the seaside village of Clovelly or attractions such as The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor. There is also a wide range of National Trust properties and gardens within easy reach, perfect for a cloudy or rainy afternoon. The sand dunes of Instow are just a short drive away along with the golden sands of Westward Ho! At night, Appledore offers a wide range of quayside eateries and family pubs. Stepping into the cottage you are greeted by a welcoming lounge with warming wood burner, Smart TV and Blu ray, a perfect place for snuggling up and watching a movie. Moving through into the kitchen/diner you will find it is well equipped for those days you decide to stay in an cook a meal, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. The family bathroom completes the accommodation on this floor and offers a shower over bath and WC. Heading upstairs to the first floor from the kitchen/diner there are three bedrooms, these include one king size with river views and 2 single rooms one of which opens out onto the unusually spacious garden area. Stepping outside from the small single room on the first floor there is a good size enclosed rear garden with garden furniture and a BBQ, perfect for a spot of al fresco dining. There is roadside parking available nearby, subject to availability as well as public car parks (extra) Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 king size and 2 singles. 1 bathroom. Roadside parking a short walk from the cottage (subject to availability) or pay and display car park nearby. Due to the cottages elevated position, 20 shallow steps lead to the street the cottage is situated on. Wi Fi included. 2 dogs welcome.
