For guests who like to cycle, bikes can be hired locally for traversing the disused railway lines, whilst walkers can take advantage of the nearby Lathkill Dale and Tissington Trail which runs down to the cobbled streets of Ashbourne. A short drive away lies the pretty market town of Bakewell, complete with all the local amenities for guests. The delightful stone cottage, built in 1769 lies at the edge of the village and the local pub, The Bulls Head, is just 100 yards away. Set in the centre of the Peak District, the property makes the most of the stunning scenery from the secluded rear patio and lawn garden perfect for a BBQ. Downstairs, the fully equipped kitchen provides everything guests need for entertaining, and the beamed ceiling lounge dining area with its log burning stove and stone fireplace is the ultimate spot for a cosy evening in front of the fire.
