A lovely stone built cottage set in the pretty village of Fritchley is perfect for groups of friends, couples or families looking to enjoy the outdoors and explore this beautiful part of Derbyshire.

Situated in an excellent location, this cottage is in the perfect spot for walking and exploring the Peak District with its many attractions, including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the lovely market towns of Bakewell and Matlock, making it an ideal base any time of the year. With a wealth of attractions, restaurants, fish and chip shops, amusement arcades, classic high level walks, family adventure parks and even a cable car service, Matlock & Matlock Bath are certain to keep you entertained. The village of Crich is a short drive away and has an array of traditional pubs, shops, market square and a fascinating Tramway Village. Approached via a flight of stone steps, the cottage is welcoming as you enter the handy utility space with washing machine and drinks fridge, following through into the cosy lounge which is complimented with oak flooring, character beams and a beautiful wood burner at the heart of the room. Curl up in front of the TV after a day exploring the area, you might even see some friendly cows through the window in the neighbouring field. Enjoy a special meal at the nearby dinner table to celebrate any occasion. The kitchen offers everything you need to rustle up a good meal such as an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Heading upstairs to the first floor there is a bright and airy double bedroom overlooking the back fields providing lovely views, also on the first floor is the handy dressing room and a shower room with shower and WC. Heading up to the second floor is a further beautiful double bedroom where you will get a restful night s sleep and enjoy rolling views of the surrounding countryside. Completing the property there is a bathroom with roll top bath, situated under the picture window providing the perfect place to unwind, and WC. Heading outside there is a courtyard area to the front of the cottage with secluded hot tub and outdoor seating, perfect for a summers evening. There is off road parking for two cars. Need to know: 2 bedrooms doubles. 1 bathroom and 1 shower room. Electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Utility room with washing machine and fridge.
