Within a short distance you will find Malham mentioned in the Domesday book as 'Malgun' where you can visit Malham tarn and admire the Gordale Scar complete with waterfalls. The market town of Skipton is close by where you will find various restaurants and cafes along with retails shops and the famous Skipton Castle.
