Thoughtfully converted former barn, offering spacious and well maintained accommodation for five guests, located in a quiet farmland location in the North Yorkshire countryside.
This property is located on the outskirts of the village of Huby which sits in the Yorkshire countryside between Ilkley and Harrogate. Harrogate can be found just 6 miles away and is a lovely day out with it's famous Turkish baths, RHS Harlow Carr Gardens and Bettys Tearoom. There is plenty more to see and do in the area, including Harewood House, Bolton Abbey, Brimham Rocks and Ripley Castle. Explore the nearby market towns of Ilkley and Skipton or venture further afield to the beautiful City of York or take a trip to the coast. This single storey ground floor property is a delightful place to enjoy a relaxing break, and the owners sense of style and eye for detail is evident as soon as guests arrive. The main living area is the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a charming room with a vaulted beamed ceiling, a feature stone wall, and plenty of space for guests to eat, cook, watch the TV/DVD on the leather sofas, or simply sit back with one of the books from the owners collection. The first of the propertys two bedrooms is a spacious king size room which has a sofa seating area and views to the front of the property from the tall floor to ceiling window. The second bedroom is just as generously sized and is presented as a family room, offering a 46 double bed alongside a single, making it ideal for a couple with a young child. The family bathroom has been finished to a high standard and is fully tiled offering a bath, separate shower, and WC. Outside, the property enjoys a patio garden for which patio furniture can be provided for those who would like to enjoy al fresco dining. There is off road parking provided for two cars. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 triple with a double and single bed. Bathroom with bath, shower, and WC. TV/DVD. Wi Fi included (signal can be weak in some areas of the property). Oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge. Shared external laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer and additional fridge/freezer. Ground floor access and designed with accessibility in mind. Bed linen, electric, and underfloor heating included. 2 Dogs welcome (must be kept on a lead on the farm). Off road parking for 2 cars. Excellent pub nearby and farm shop/café just a short drive away.
