It s an ideal spot for families and couples, with the beautiful promenade, seafront gardens, harbour, international marina, beaches and an abundance of pubs and restaurants in the nearby town of Torquay. Visit Dartmouth with its busy harbour, castle, shops and galleries or Teignmouth, an attractive seaside town with a promenade, beach and pier. Also, nearby are Totnes, Paignton and Exeter. Amongst the many family attractions are Cockington Country Park, Crealy Adventure Park, Woodlands Adventure Park and the famous Dartmouth and South Devon heritage steam railways. Dartmoor National Park is a short drive away, both horse riding and walking across the stunning landscapes are popular.
