A romantic, unique property to make you feel at one with nature but within easy reach to local amenities so you re not completely isolated

Originally a writer s cabin, this cosy shack feels off the beaten track, yet is really very easy to get back to the real world. Many items made by the owner from a native ash tree can be found within the structure of the property giving it a truly unique feel. Explore the private woodland, listen to the birds, relax in the hammock by the stream or enjoy stunning trails from the doorstep. Across the lane, walk the Sugar Loaf Mountain or stride out into the Brecon Beacons National Park or Wye Valley, both within easy reach. There are exceptional road trails and mountain biking within the area and The Black Mountains are home to pony trekking centres. The town of Crickhowell is within easy reach and good for stocking up on local fayre. The historical city of Hereford with Cathedral and Mappa Mundi and Hay on Wye, famous for the annual Hay Festival and numerous second hand bookshops, are both good for day trips. The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: a cosy double. Shower room: with shower and compost WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: woodburner (plentiful supply of logs provided), board games and books. Kitchen area with small electric cooker, 2 ring electric hob and fridge. Outside: decked area with garden furniture, hammock and chiminea. Amenities: parking for 1 car. Bed linen, towels, electric and logs included. Regret no pets. Regret no smoking. Arrival: 4pm. Need to know: SLEEPS 2 : Designed just for two, with double bed, decent mattress and proper bed linen, which is provided. RELAXING : Cosy living space, with kitchen, dining table overlooking the deck area and sofa. Wood burning stove and a plentiful supply of logs. Unusually for a Glamping site, there is electricity, so electric lights and normal plug sockets are in situ...plus candles too for the romantic in you! COOKING : Handbuilt kitchen with fridge, electric cooker and small hob, sink. Equipped with all the crockery and cutlery you should need, plus handy washing up liquid, salt, pepper etc. provided.
