- There is a small front terrace just big enough to sit and enjoy the panorama of the bustling Haven Waterway.
- During the construction of the Great Western Railway by Isambard Kingdom Brunel the cottage was one of the offices, now refurbished and furnished to a comfortable residential standard. Pets welcome.
