Description
It also makes an ideal cycling base, situated on National Cycle Network route 30.
It has a private jetty and a small, private island accessed via the car park. Visitors to the garden include swans, deer, kingfishers, ducks and numerous other bird species. Fish include chubb, pike and perch. The river runs the full length of the garden and along the bank are bulrushes, water iris, lilies and reeds. There is a public house within walking distance, The Old Kings Head with origins dating back to the 14th century and has a bar and restaurant.

Dining area With table and chairs Sitting room With wood burning stove, LCD television with Netflix and Amazon Prime and a DVD player, stereo system for the television and CD player with attachment for MP3s. Utility room With washing machine and tumble dryer. Wet room With shower and WC. First Floor: Double bedroom Wth 5' king-size bed, television and balcony. Double bedroom With 4'6 bed. Single bedroom With 3' bed. Spacious Bathroom With bath, twin wash basins, WC and separate shower. (Bathrobes provided). Outside: Enclosed garden with seating and barbecue overlooking the river. River frontage with fishing rights. Fishing from the river bank or boat. A rod licence is usually required (please note that between 15th March and 15th June the season is closed for coarse fishing). Private jetty and a small private island accessed via the car park. Additional Information: Please note that due to the riverside frontage, we can only accept children over 9 years of age and a baby in his/her own moses basket at Riverside Cottage. Sorry, no stag/hen parties, pets or commercial vehicles. Underfloor heating.
