Chez Marguerite is a small but perfectly formed Shepherd's Hut, with a bespoke solid oak interior and is set privately within the owner's idyllic woodland garden. With wool insulation, double glazing, a wood burning stove (logs included), as well as electric heaters, this charming Hut is not just for long and lazy summer days, but is perfect for cosy and romantic winter evenings too. Beautifully decorated and eclectically furnished, everything has been thought of to ensure your stay is as comfortable as you could possible wish. Inside, there is a small kitchen with a hob, half-size butler's sink, a fridge and a kettle as well as a table with seating for two. A small shower room offers further home-from-home comforts, while the cosy raised double bed allows you uninterrupted views across the private garden. A selection of breakfast goodies will be ready and waiting for you on arrival.
Outside, take a seat, sit back and soak up the sound of birdsong? Or, after a busy day exploring this wonderful part of North Norfolk, pull up a chair, light the fire pit, pour a glass of wine and just relax.
Chez Marguerite is the perfect romantic hideaway, and has been the delightful venue for more than one bended-knee proposal. It's also the perfect choice for those who prefer to holiday alone or for those wishing to get in touch with their creative side - painters, writers and photographers have found inspiration here.
