From the doorstep there are winding walks through the trees from where you can appreciate the views, look out for squirrels and listen to the wild birds’ songs. The village of Aberchirder offers an array of amenities including a Co-Op convenience store and a local pub. Further afield, the coastal town of Banff is well-worth a visit offering beautiful seaside views and activities like golf, visiting museums and manor houses and even an aquarium. Over in Huntly explore the castle and a wide range of shops and eateries, as well as being part of the famous Whisky Trail!
