Whitstone 2.5 miles. Beech Tree Lodge is an attractive, detached wooden lodge. It has a generous private garden surrounded by trees and is situated on a working farm with stunning, uninterrupted views across Cornish countryside towards Dartmoor. Set over the ground floor, this delightful dwelling provides a superb base, for families or a small group of friends, to explore everything the local area has to offer. There are countryside walks from the front door and the coast is only 8 miles away. The recently refurbished accommodation offers a sociable open-plan living area with a fully integrated kitchen providing everything you need during your relaxing stay. The lounge has a large, comfortable sofa and a 42" flat screen, smart TV. There is a double bedroom and a bunk bed room both of which have clean, crisp, white organic cotton sheets and are contemporary and comfortable. The perfect place to relax and recharge for the following days adventures. The stylish family shower room has an electric shower providing constant hot water and a heated towel rail and illuminated mirror. The beautiful views can be enjoyed when relaxing in the lodge, but are even better having a BBQ outside on the patio in the private garden looking for the resident Barn Owls hunting. Enjoy a glass of wine under the dark skies, star gazing and keeping a look out for the family of hedgehogs that also make the farm their home. There is a Farm Shop less than half a mile away for everyday essentials which is also our 'local' The Stumble Inn. Widemouth Bay for surfing and a good choice of beach restaurants is a short leisure drive away and the seaside town of Bude is a few miles further down the coast. Bude is surrounded by beautiful bays, coves and beaches. Here you will find weekly artisan and farmers markets, independent restaurants, bars and cafes - It even has its own Victorian tidal sea pool.
