The property has off-road parking available and a patio area with a picnic bench outside, ideal for lunch in the summer sunshine. Inside, there is a cosy feeling living/dining room, with a choice of two sofas to relax on while enjoying your favourite shows on the TV, or for enjoying one of the provided books and getting lost in a fascinating story, while the dining table has room for the whole group to gather together and enjoy a home-cooked meal, lovingly prepared in the amply-equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, so no arguing over who has to do the washing up. There are bathrooms on both floors; a ground floor shower room and a first-floor bathroom with corner bath, so whether you want a quick shower or a relaxing soak, the choice is yours. There are four spacious bedrooms, two doubles and two twins, spaced out over the ground and first floors, each with ample storage space for all if your belongings and lovely countryside views. Guests of Seanicview Lodge have unlimited access to all of the on-site facilities available at the holiday park, including an outdoor and indoor pool, gym and tennis courts, while the on-site shop and pub, which serves food, are there for your added convenience. If you want to venture beyond the park to explore your surroundings, St Ann's Chapel has a fish and chip shop, as well as a few independent shops, a park and The Tamar valley Donkey Park, which the little ones will love. The market town of Tavistock, situated on the River Tavy, is a few miles away, has a selection of shops, pubs and cafés, along with a museum and park and you can enjoy a stroll along the canal or by the river. Head into the Tamar Valley AONB, a walker's paradise, it showcase some of the best rural landscape Devon has to offer, as well as attractions such as the National Trust's Cotehele, a medieval house with stunning gardens to admire, and Buckland Abbey, a 700-year-old property with surrounding woodland to discover. St Ann's Chapel is a hamlet in the parish of Calstock, just west of Gunnislake, in Cornwall. Set in a beautiful rural location engulfed by the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this small community is now largely residential with a handful of local shops, eating establishments, public houses and small businesses in and around the area. Callington is close by, a market town rich in mining heritage and overlooked by Kit Hill, the highest point in the area. From the top of Kit Hill there are fabulous views across south-east Cornwall as far as Plymouth Sound, a must for the outdoor enthusiast. The market town of Tavistock lies 6 miles to the north and offers a range of local shops. Plymouth is a vibrant city with a flourishing university and has the benefit of a main line rail station with access to London Paddington. This wonderful area offers much to be explored, a delightful region of Cornwall to choose as a base.
