A charming detached cedar wood cabin in a wooded area with countryside views in a peaceful and unspoilt part of rural North Devon.
Set in the communal grounds of Berridon Manor House, these detached individually designed lodges offer peace and tranquillity, and a great base from which to explore. In the evenings stroll down to the village pub for a drink and a bite to eat. A wealth of popular beaches and attractions are nearby Bude, Widemouth Bay, Sandymouth, Clovelly and Tintagel are also a short drive. The Tamar Lakes Nature Reserve offers trout and coarse fishing and water sports too hire windsurfing boards, sailing dinghies, rowing boats, kayaks, and wet suits. Or just enjoy lovely lakeside walks. This detached lodge offers a quiet position and steps lead up to the raised decked balcony. On entering the property you are in the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the lounge area has comfy sofas, a wood burner to cosy up in front of whilst watching a DVD or a favourite programme on the TV. The kitchen area has electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The two bedrooms include a double and a twin room, French doors lead out to the decked balcony and garden from the double bedroom. The family bathroom competes the accommodation with shower over bath and WC. Stepping outside onto the decked balcony area there is garden furniture and seating. Steps lead down to the enclosed lawn area with swinging seat and picnic table. A side gate leads to the drive where there is room for one car, for an additional vehicle there is roadside parking. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin. 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Wifi included. TV, DVD in lounge. Bluetooth speaker. Wood burner in lounge area. Enclosed garden. Ample parking. Beach 7 miles, pub & shop approximately 1 mile.
