Explore the moors and valleys of the Yorkshire Dales along with Nidderdale an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are many activities available on the Dales for the more adventurous from mountain biking to rock climbing and abseiling, or just a bracing walk across the fells. The Victorian spa town of Harrogate is close by with gardens to walk and admire, independent shops, pubs, restaurants and spa treatments. Slightly further afield is the ancient city of York with lots to entertain all including museums, theatres, historic buildings, art galleries, National Railway Museum, independent shops, pubs and eateries. If you want to get away from it all, this is certainly a great place to stay. This eco friendly stone built cottage offers a modern stylish interior for your romantic getaway. Step inside the cottage into this fantastic open plan living space. Here, you can snuggle up and relax on the sofa in front of the wood burner whilst watching a movie, or perch at the breakfast bar, wine in hand, while the chef rustles up a romantic meal. The kitchen is equipped with all you need during your stay, including an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and wine cooler. When it's time to retire, head up the stairs to a most luxurious bedroom with a super king size four poster bed with a free standing bath tub for two. There is also an en suite shower room and WC. Head outside into your own private garden which is surrounded by wonderful panoramic views of the neighbouring countryside. There is a hot tub to soak away your sore muscles after a day of exploring, along with garden table and chairs which is the ideal spot for sitting out and enjoying a glass of wine whilst you take in the fabulous countryside views. There is off road parking on site. Need to know: 1 super king size 4 poster bed with free standing bath. En suite shower room with walk in shower and WC. Electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge, wine cooler and dishwasher. Wood burner (One basket of logs included). 4K smart TV in lounge and bedroom. Enclosed rear lawned garden and patio with garden furniture and private hot tub. Shop 5 miles, pub 4 miles. Off road parking for 2 cars. Adults only, no children including infants or babes in arms. Regret no pets. Being completely off grid, with all electricity generated by wind & solar, the charging of electric cars on site cannot be facilitated.. Please note: Strictly no smoking on site.
