Set in a pretty courtyard within the grounds of the owners thatched home, yet where privacy is assured, this delightful cottage is conveniently placed with the town of Barnstaple, just a short drive away, the characterful Pannier Market is worth a look and for those looking to walk or cycle it offers easy access to the popular Tarka Trail. Bideford is also an interesting place to visit, where you can hop on the Oldenburg and enjoy a boat trip to Lundy Island. Beach lovers will love the numerous beaches in the area, including Instow, Westward Ho!, Croyde and Woolacombe. Alternatively explore the pretty coastal villages of Appledore, Hartland and Clovelly. Exmoor National Park is just a short drive away where you can enjoy fabulous walks and scenery. Stepping into this cute little cottage, you are greeted by an entrance hall ideal for walking boots and coats, this leads through to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the lounge area has comfy seating and a wall mounted Smart TV, A small dining table is located in front of the French doors that lead out to the private garden area. The kitchen area is chef ready and is equipped with an electric oven and hob and fridge. Completing this property is the bedroom which is accessed down a step which has a double bed and an en suite shower and WC. Heading outside there is a patio area surrounded with shrubs and plants, garden furniture and a BBQ, perfect for those lovely summer evenings. Guests at all the properties on this site have the freedom to wander the grounds and surrounding fields. There is a lake where you can fish (rods and tackle available) and there is an art room available for you to use by arrangement with the owner. There is parking for one car. Need to know: 1 bedroom double. 1 en suite shower room with shower and WC. Electric oven and hob, fridge and dishwasher. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Smart TV. Patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. Shared use of coarse fishing lake and art house (by arrangement with the owner). Off road parking for 1 car. Beach 11 miles, shop 2 miles and pub 1.5 miles.
