This peaceful getaway can be found in a quiet corner of Hay on Wye and is just a stroll away from some of the town s many antique and second hand bookshops. The Globe at Hay the town s bustling arts centre is just around the corner, as is the historic Hay Castle. Known for its famous literature festival, Hay on Wye offers a fantastic range of pubs, cafes and restaurants, and makes a wonderful base for exploring the Brecon Beacons. Local activities include walking, swimming, horse riding, canoeing and climbing, with the Black Mountains to the south and Offa s Dyke passing through the town. Other attractions include Tretower Castle (18 miles), Llangorse Lake (13 miles) and the Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre (11 miles). Set in a quiet street less than half a mile from the centre of Hay on Wye, this bright, airy and welcoming property features a light, charming and relaxing lounge.
