Pull aside the curtain separating this area from the kitchen and discover a well-equipped space, home to all of the amenities you could need for a week-long trip,with a drop leaf dining table and fold out chairs to gather around for home cooked meals. Follow the stairs up to the first floor when sleep takes hold and settle within the master double bedroom, with a luxurious chaise-longue resting at the end of the bed, a stylish dressing table and chair making the perfect spot to get ready for an evening out, while a quirky reading alcove offers a quiet haven for a moment to yourself. A further bedroom holds two charming single beds, complete with quality linen and blankets, with both rooms served by the shower room, perfect for a refreshing morning rinse. Guests have full access to the spectacular Branklyn Garden, created in the 1920s by Dorothy and John Renton, cultivated with love to be a home to over 4,500 species of plants from all over the world. Now run by the National Trust for Scotland, you can wander the grounds and marvel at the picturesque scenery. Perth was Scotland's ancient capital for five centuries and is still a hub of activity today; situated on the banks of the River Tay, you can delight in riverside walks before stopping in one of the local cafés or tearooms, discovering fabulous bars and restaurants in the evenings too. Branklyn Garden is also home to a tearoom, (closed from November 1st to April 1st) offering a perfect place to stop for your morning coffee before your adventures begin.
