Description
Go through the front door straight into the inviting front room with a woodburning stove alongside a large sofa and comfortable chairs, where you can relax after a day out on the beach. A brand-new kitchen and bathroom (downstairs) have everything you need, a good-sized shower, induction hob, dishwasher, with washing machine and dryer in the outdoor shed. Upstairs are two bright and cheerful bedrooms, one for the children with two large single beds, and the master bedroom at the back, in an architect-designed extension overlooking the sun-drenched courtyard. Outside there’s a table for outdoor dining, and chairs for reading under the outside lights on a balmy summers’ evening. The street itself has something for everyone, a second-hand bookshop three doors down, an amusement arcade for the children, and the two best fish and chip shops in town within metres of the cottage, everyday food shopping is just round the corner at the Co-Op, open every day, Monday - Saturday open 7am till 10pm, Sunday is 10am -4pm. This is a lovely, welcoming cottage, in a perfect location for the beach and surrounding North Norfolk countryside, the cottage is just metres away from the seafront, and when the tide is out there is a glorious wide sandy beach, patrolled by seasonal lifeguards, and popular with bathers and surfers, the town of Cromer has a wide variety of independent shops, cafés, and plentiful pubs, and restaurants, and you can get the famous Cromer crab right on your doorstep, if you are an early bird you may see the fishermen coming back with their haul of crabs and lobsters on the beach. Norwich is just a gentle train ride away if you fancy a day out in the city, with its wonderful art gallery, bookshops and shopping, or you can explore the North Norfolk countryside by car, or with the CoastHopper bus, there is so much to do in the area such as boat trips to see the seals, train rides on a steam train, the Cromer lifeboat museum and the Tourist Information Centre in town will help you decide.
The bustling town of Cromer can be found ideally positioned on the the vast Norfolk Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Home to a vibrant pier, an abundance of attractions and a good selection of pubs, bars and restaurants, this town offers the perfect backdrop for a fun-filled escape to the seaside. Mundesley and Blakeney lie just a stone's throw away, whilst further inland the medieval city of Norwich is not to be missed.
