Dorlan is a cosy mid-terrace cottage, resting in an idyllic location on the edge of Snowdonia National Park.. With welcoming décor and an excellent touring base for the wonderful attractions of Snowdonia, enjoy a stay at this charming getaway for an unforgettable break with family or friends. Park on the roadside close to the property and enter Dorlan onto the ground floor, where you will discover an enticing living/dining room, a truly relaxing spot with a fabulous wood burning stove to warm the room on a chilly evening, a choice of sofas and an armchair to relax in at the end of a busy day and a splendid dining table for six, where you can enjoy meals together as a group. Head downstairs to the lower-ground-floor, where you will find a characterful kitchen which is amply equipped and combines slick modern units with character features like the rustic stone fireplace that houses a traditional feature AGA and a lovely wooden dresser. When you want to catch a good night's rest, head upstairs to discover the first two bedrooms; a fresh white double bedroom with stunning wooden flooring and a feature fireplace, and a lovely twin room which are served by an immaculate family bathroom with walk-in shower. Resting charmingly under the eaves on the top floor is a peaceful double room, which boasts a calming neutral theme and enjoys views towards the surrounding countryside from the Velux window above the bed. Open the kitchen door to reveal a patio and garden area,which includes outside table and chairs, with a calming river flowing by at the end of the garden. A soothing walk takes you into the village of Deiniolen, where you will find your nearest shop and pub. Further afield, there is much to see and do within a short distance; the well-stocked village of Llanberis is just four miles away, for a choice of fine shops and eateries. The property conveniently sits on the edge of the wondrous Snowdonia National Park, a landscape providing sublime opportunities for walking, climbing, cycling, wildlife spotting and even boasts the fabulous Zip World and Bounce Below. The fascinating tourist spots of Bangor and Caernarfon are also within a 10-mile journey, boasting magnificent architecture and plenty to do to suit all tastes. The lovely island of Anglesey with it's fabulous beaches and coastal walks is also only a short drive away. Dorlan is a perfectly placed, characterful cottage for a well-deserved North Wales getaway.
Deiniolen has a pub and shop, and is on the border of the Snowdonia National Park. The nearby Llanberis Railway runs along Lake Padarn, whilst the ruins of Dolbadarn Castle are two miles away, or visit the waterfall of Ceunant Mawr. Fascinating towns nearby include Caernarfon and Bangor, both are worth a look around.
