Set in the hills above Bakewell and Ashford-in-the-water, Great Longstone is the home to this very cheery property. Lismore is a pretty cottage, full of colour and charm, and is perfect for friends or family to get together to enjoy the surrounding countryside. After a hard day exploring, what could be more perfect than to take your favourite tipple into the sunny conservatory and admire the views of the mighty Longstone Moor. You could even get to watch the village cricket team from the back garden on a summer afternoon. With local footpaths right on the doorstep, you can leave the car on the driveway whilst you explore. Take the Monsal Trail which leads to the spectacular Monsal Dale, or hop on a bike and further explore into the valleys. If you have a love for history, then the famous Chatsworth House and romantic Haddon Hall are a must for the itinerary.
