After a hard day exploring the attractions in the Peak District, Dormy Cottage is the perfect place to relax in and unwind. With its snuggly lounge, unique kitchen and pleasant bedrooms and bathroom, this charming 18th-century cottage has been carefully restored and tastefully finished. Located in the small, picturesque village of Foolow, the cottage is only a short walk from the village green, complete with duck pond, and the traditional Bulls Head pub, well known for its popular lunch and dinner menus. The glorious countryside is a paradise for walkers; good routes lead up to Bretton and The Barrel Inn or over the fields to the delightfully named Silly Dale. Further afield, you might like to visit famous Chatsworth House or Haddon Hall, Bakewell’s famous market or Buxton’s Victorian Crescent. The Derwent Valley Dams, Winnots Pass and Castleton’s caverns are also nearby. Size: Sleeps 3 in 2 bedrooms Beds: 1 double bedroom and 1 single bedroom Rooms: Ground floor: lounge, kitchen, bathroom.
