Take some sandwiches, fishing nets and surfing gear with you to Freshwater West, 11 miles away, where you can play on the open sands, tackle the waves or explore the many rock pools, against a backdrop that appeared the Harry Potter and Robin Hood films. Spend an afternoon in Pembroke, 4 miles away, where you can wander around the striking castle where Henry VII was born and discover a 14th century chapel built into the cliff.
