The location is ideal, with shops, restaurants, outdoor pursuits, a cinema and The World of Beatrix Potter all nearby. Bowness, Coniston Water, Kendal, and the Furness Peninsula are all within easy reach, making this Windermere cottage a superb year-round base.
Set within splendid scenery in the Lake District National Park, the twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are vibrant, bustling settlements, popular with both first-timers and visitors returning to the Lakes. They offer a range of amenities to suit all tastes, including a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Boat rides can be taken between Bowness and the popular village of Ambleside, while nearby are Beatrix Potter's âHill Top Farm' and the Lakeside Aquarium.
