Bala Lake provides a number of watersports and fishing, or explore the area either on foot through the surrounding countryside or by taking a ride on the miniature steam railway. The cottage is also conveniently situated for visiting the renowned mountain bike centre at Coed-y-Brenin, and further afield, why not fly to Blaenau Ffestiniog and ride the World Famous Ffestiniog narrow gauge steam train to the harbour town of Porthmadog, or visit Llechwedd slate caverns, which is now home to ZipWorld Titan, Europe's longest four-man zip wire, and Bounce Below, an exhilarating underground trampoline park. Couples will be spoilt for choice with the fabulous array of outdoor activities on offer in this area, then enjoy returning to the comfort of this lovely property at the end of a busy day.
