The sitting room is a perfect place to relax at the end of the day after exploring the surrounding area; the dining area is ideal for leisurely meals, whilst the bright, sunny and fully equipped kitchen and garden room leads out into the pretty enclosed courtyard garden, with a selection of seating to enjoy outdoor dining on those sunny days. The master bedroom has plenty of space for relaxing whilst the twin room has two single beds. A spacious family bathroom is on the same floor whilst a short flight of steps takes you to a separate cloakroom.
Located in the heart of Axminster’s Conservation area, a stone’s throw from the beautiful medieval Minster and its surrounding green, Herb Cottage offers the best of all worlds, being perfectly located for exploring both Devon and Dorset, countryside and coast. It is also an ideal spot to stay for Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall’s famous cookery courses at the River Cottage HQ, which is just on the outskirts of town.
