A trip to Harlech would not be complete without a visit to the historic Harlech Castle. Built under the reign of King Edward I in the 13th century, the castle welcomes visitors to learn more about its history. The nearby Llanfair Slate Caverns offer an insight into more recent history; the caverns are untouched from how they were left by miners and can be accessed for self-guided, dog friendly tours. Challenge yourself to kayaking with Adrenalin Addicts, who provide expert guides to help you tackle a new activity. In the shadows of Harlech Castle is Royal St. David’s Golf Club. The club accepts visitors and is ranked as the second best course in Wales. For a memorable trip to Harlech, visit 4 Rock Terrace
